Simone is an award-winning director whose work has been honored for its powerful storytelling and social impact. Her accolades include the NATAS Elizabeth Stanton Women in Television Scholarship, Best Director at the Frontier Film Festival, and multiple wins at the ConnectHER Film Festival (2023 Women’s Education Winner and 2025 Women’s Health Winner). She has been honored at the first annual Children and Family Emmy awards and has also been recognized by the Changing Minds Young Filmmakers Festival.
